Looking for a SQUIRE alternative?
Chairspace is barbershop booking software with your own website, barber scheduling and client records. Compare how it fits the way your shop books appointments, works together and gets paid.
Chairspace plans to launch November 1, 2026. Account setup is not open yet.
Booking and the working day
Both products address online booking and the work around it. SQUIRE lists scheduling, client management and staff management among its tools. Chairspace brings customer booking, staff calendars and each shop's client records into a branded shop website. Customers can browse services and barber profiles, then choose a time with the right person.
Consider how each option fits the way your team handles availability, repeat visits and a busy front desk. A feature list alone will not tell you whether your staff will enjoy using it every day.
A clear difference at checkout
SQUIRE offers POS and payment tools. Chairspace customer appointments are paid in person at the shop. Chairspace does not collect a card, take a deposit or provide POS checkout for those appointments. If taking payments through your booking software is important to your business, keep that difference in view while comparing.
Websites and plans
Chairspace includes a branded shop website with both plans. Solo is CA$25 per month for an independent barber. Barbershop is CA$50 per month per location for a team, with no per-barber charge. SQUIRE lists several plans for different shop sizes and shows branded landing pages as an Executive add-on. Check SQUIRE's current plans for the features and terms that apply to you; its listed amounts may not use the same currency or billing basis as Chairspace's Canadian-dollar plans.
If you already use SQUIRE, review your current booking links, client records and payment process before deciding how a change would work. Chairspace is not offering an automatic import or a live account transfer at this stage.
